NewJeans Unable to Say Their Team Name on the Red Carpet “Tried to Act Bright”

The SBS Gayo Daejeon red carpet event took place on the afternoon of Dec 25th at the Inspire Arena in Unseo-dong, Jung-gu, Incheon.

NewJeans attended the red carpet event that day. Despite posing cheerfully at the host’s request, they were unable to say their team name “NewJeans”.

Since Nov 29th, NewJeans has maintained their position that their exclusive contract with ADOR has been terminated and has been pursuing independent activities. Meanwhile, ADOR filed a lawsuit seeking confirmation of the validity of the exclusive contract, asserting that the agreement remains in effect.

In a recent radio appearance under their individual names, NewJeans shared, “We hope to have our own big stage in Korea.”
